Waiting

It's the end of a month.  It went by in fairly good speed.  Unfortunately, I still feel like I am waiting, waiting, waiting.  I thought I had past those days in my life.  What might I be waiting for?  Well that is a secret.  I wish I could share, but it would spoil the fun.  An update of things to look forward to besides that are in order. 

1) skiing 1.5 weeks
2) San Francisco 5.5 weeks (suggestions must sees and yarn shops must visits are welcome)
3) Hilton Head Island 2+ months

Knitting Update: Charm has cuffs and I am working on the first arm (barely) I hope to see some progress at late night tonight:)

Ponderings...

Life has been trotting along for the most part, but the other day I felt like I have let things slip.  I haven't been as social lately and was fine with that until recently.  Now I feel I have been letting life sneak by a little too much.  I feel a new desire to keep in touch, work on some unfinished projects and have some things to look forward to.  I hope that by listing them I will be better able to stay motivated. 

Knitting Goals:
1) Finish Charm cardigan
2) Start on teal sweater in Rebecca issue 31

Things to look forward to:
1) Ski day in 2.5 weeks
2) San Francisco (for work) in 6.5 weeks
3) Trip to Hilton Head Island in a little over 2 months

Other Goal:  Renewed effort in keeping in touch.

Randomness.....I am soo glad it snowed! Yay!

New Year

Although I have no New Year's resolutions I have been feeling productive and motivated so far so I thought I would continue the trend and actually post something!  Time has been moving right along.  The holidays went well and now it back to lots of work and business I'm sure.

My sister was home for Christmas and she and I hung out some.  I finished the Christmas present for the bf in the nick of time.  Maybe someday I'll learn to avoid knitted Christmas gifts.  Ordering yarn from Australia for a knitted gift and then having to order a second time does not lead to stressless knitting!  Here is a picture of the finished product.

I am dreaming of a possible Rebecca shrug in cashmere or some substitute.  We will see soon enough.  I received a total of three knitting books for Christmas and knowing me I will still manage to find something to knit in a completely different book.  sigh.
